Tokyo, Japan — A Japanese scientist recently unveiled his newest creation, and she’s “alive.”
“Repliee Q1” was introduced to the world in Tokyo, Japan. The female android is the creation of Professor Hiroshi Ishiguru of Osaka University. He says one day robots could fool us into believing they are human.
Repliee Q1 is designed to look and act human. Currently, she can sit, but she can also smile, flutter her eyelids and move her hands like a human. She even appears to breathe.
