A remarkable photographic project that will create the worldâs largest camera to produce the worldâs largest photograph.
The Guinness Book of Records has confirmed that the giant camera and 25â x 100â photograph warrants consideration as a new world record and the rigorous Guinness Book certification process is currently underway.
On a vastly enlarged scale, the process of creating this camera and photograph represents a significantly historical event. Based upon the Camera Obscura (Latin for “dark room”) principal of the original design from which all cameras evolved, The Legacy Project is dramatically expanding this concept by turning an actual airplane hangar into a gigantic camera obscura.
