Well, here it is, the first podcast of the new year. New and improved. There is a large file with better quality and a smaller one that sounds just about the same to me. There is a lot of music in this one, some of my favorites. Charles Mingus, Iwan Falls, Leonard Cohen, Oumou Sangare, and me explaining the difference between Sunnis and Shiites and why you should make me President of the United States. As usual, a bit disjointed, and utterly enjoyable.One rather blatant error is that the show closes with “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised” not “Whitey on the Moon”…both are timeless classics by Gil Scott Heron…only one is on this fuknpodcast.
