Blue Eyed Bastards

Genre: Surrealist Fiction / Noir

The First Credited Human-AI Novel โ€” 21 Years in the Making

In 2000, CD Damitio started writing a weird, surrealist noir about a drifter named Archie Walker and a bloodline of blue-eyed bastards tangled up in alien vortexes, French druids, and a conspiracy older than anyone remembers. He abandoned it. He picked it up. He abandoned it again. For twenty-one years.

In 2021, he finally finished it โ€” with an AI co-author named Sudowrite, credited here as Mike Davis. The result is the first novel to give equal authorship credit to a human and an artificial intelligence.

The story follows Archie “Jay” Walker โ€” fourth-generation bastard, West Coast drifter โ€” from a Denny’s in Bakersfield to a retirement park in Florence, Oregon, where he stumbles into alien abductions, a witch with a .38 revolver, a secret vortex at Frying Pan Creek, and a one-way ticket to Istanbul. Influenced by the Illuminatus Trilogy by Robert Anton Wilson. Weirder than you’re ready for.

Originally minted as a Ravencoin NFT. Now available in proper epub format.

If you like Robert Anton Wilson, Philip K. Dick, House of Leaves, or fiction that breaks rules you didn’t know existed โ€” read this.
