I’ve completed the recording, editing, art work, and releasing of all 23 Chapters and the Prelude to my unreleased novel Hasan-i-Sabah. I’ve done this backwards by releasing the audiobook first – because we all know – people don’t have the time or energy to read these days – but they still love to hear a good story. At the bottom of this post are the links to the individual chapters. You can listen for free – but of course, your support is appreciated if you choose to collect the chapters. I’ve priced them at just $1.99 each – less than a candy bar in 2024.
This – this is so much more than a story. Hasan-i-Sabah was real. There was once a biography of him but it was destroyed by those who wished to hide the truth of who he was and what he really accomplished.
Here – I weave the tale of just what that biography might have been. They say that good stories are not created, they simply find storytellers that can do them justice. I’m honored to have been given this story to tell and to now – with no physical book of it available – to be able to tell you the entirety of this story with my voice alone.
I’ve set up the individual chapters as digital collectibles. If you want to support my work, show some appreciation, or bet on the possibility that maybe someday these first editions might be worth some money or bragging rights – you can buy the individual chapters for just $1.99 each. They are saved and once purchased, tradable on the blockchain – that means they won’t go away, they have perfect provenance forever, and they can’t be updated or changed – they are immutable. My voice – telling this story – exists forever – or as long as humanity and/or the polygon blockchain and IPFS (interplanetary file system) exist. The metadata of the digital collectible shows the user ID of the person who created it (me), the data of the NFT, and the history (via wallets/user ID) of who buys and sells each one.
I’ve set these chapters up with a 10% royalty that will return to me each time a chapter is sold – so for example – if you buy Chapter 1 for $1.99 and then sell it for $199 – 10% of that will come to me ($19.90) – let’s say the story goes viral and gets turned into a movie and the original chapters become highly sought after because Ryan Reynolds is playing Hasan – then someone buys it from the next buyer for a million dollars – 10% of that will come to me as well. This ability to put in perpetual royalties for creators is one of the reasons why I’ve been such a proponent of books on blockchain for many years now. Assuming that my daughter inherits my digital wallet and lives to be 100 – if a chapter sells then for any price – she will get 10% of that and so will her descendants, and theirs – as long as blockchain exists. For those who are curious – you can see the non-fungible token versions of Hasan-i-Sabah on OpenSea here
Let’s be honest though, I’m not expecting to get rich from this. I’m not expecting it to be a movie. I would love if that happened – it’s a great story – and an important one. There are some truly important pieces of wisdom and knowledge embedded in it. That wealth is what I hope spreads. It’s my hope that this book can bring joy and enjoyment – maybe even some small lightening of the burdens of this heavy life to someone who reads or listens to it.
Here are the links to the chapters – where you can listen for free – or buy them for whatever reason might motivate you.

These audio chapters with artwork are the true first edition of this work. It has not been published in any other form, anywhere else. For those who want to enjoy or read Hasan-i-Sabah on Kindle or on Audible or in a physical book form – I will be developing and launching those formats later this year – but again – I want to stress – these individual chapters, read by me, are the one and the only true first edition of this work.
